During my recent travels, I had the opportunity to stay at Village House Kalypso in Paleokastritsa. As a frequent traveler, I often look for convenience and proximity when it comes to transit stays, and this hotel provided just that. Located only 20 km away from the nearest airport, it offered easy access and a seamless transition for my journey.

I must highlight one minor negative aspect of my stay. The size of the bed in the room was quite small.

Clean, well-furnished apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Two balconies provide stunning sea views. Easy self check-in process and responsive hosts. Convenient location for exploring Corfu.

The rooms and apartments of Village House Kalypso are cozy and inviting, with a warm and homely atmosphere. I loved how comfortable the beds were, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. The private bathrooms with showers were convenient and well-maintained. And the views over the Ionian Sea were simply breathtaking, adding an extra touch of serenity to my stay. As a light sleeper, I truly felt at ease in this tranquil setting.

The one thing I wasn't particularly fond of was the bathtub in the bathroom. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

Staying in this apartment is a must! Maria, the owner, is sweet and owns a fantastic nearby restaurant. The house's location at the end of the village ensures absolute silence. The highlight is the heavenly view from the big balcony. Every morning, waking up to the beautiful view from the bed is truly an experience. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking, and a small bakery/market is a short walk away. No car needed with the "Donkey Path" trail to Paleokastritsa beach.

The kitchen is well-equipped and there is a small bakery/market nearby. The "Donkey Path" trail provides a nice walk to the beach and back. The apartment is spacious with two balconies and a lovely quiet neighborhood. The location and views are fabulous, the apartment is comfortable and well-equipped, and Maria is friendly and responsive to any issues.

I keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need - Wi-Fi, parking, cooking facilities, AC, airport shuttle. The staff even helped me with currency tips. Can't wait to return for my next trip. Amenities include hiking, cycling, fishing, massage, and no pets or smoking.

Loved the stunning views from my balcony, perfect for taking in the breathtaking scenery. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The local restaurants and mini markets made it easy to find everything I needed. The property even offered special diet menus, so I didn't have to worry about my picky taste.

Oh, the bed! What a cozy experience it was, trying to fit two slim people over 180 cm tall.

We recently stayed at Village House Kalypso in a beautiful village called Lakones. the location was stellar, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. the apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with two balconies and a fully equipped kitchen. It was the perfect distance from the tourist center of Paleokastritsa, allowing us to enjoy a peaceful stay while still being just a 10-minute drive away from the coast. the host, Maria, provided excellent service and communication, and we felt very welcome with the complimentary juice, wine, snacks. the apartment was also conveniently located just half an hour away from Corfu airport, making it a great base for day trips to explore the north and south of the island. we highly recommend Village House Kalypso!
